The beloved TV star Betty White is confirmed to guest star on Fox's long-time running show Bones for their upcoming 11th season. She is going to portray the role of the team's new intern, or better known on the show as a squintern.
The actress Betty White will play the role of Dr. Beth Mayer, whose years of experience could possibly make her the only forensic anthropologist that is more qualified than the character played by Emily Deschanel. Entertainment Weekly reports that White's character is going to be called in to assist on a murder case that connects to a fantasy football team. Fox's long-time running show is bound for its 11th season already, having White as their newest surprise addition to it.
White's character on the show is described to be a very accomplished doctor who is as sharp as a tack. This is definitely a great role for her given her experience in TV, especially now that she's already 93. According to Entertainment News Online, the TV actress announced the news herself on her twitter account. White has a TV Land Sitcom entitled Hot in Cleveland which just wrapped up the show after their run for six seasons. The 93-year-old actress has been on countless TV shows over the years and she has been considered a legend.
Her upcoming episode on the show is set to air on October. Initially, she is only set to appear on the first episode as a guest star. However, as early as now, fans are already hoping that she will continuously appear on the show for more episodes, alongside Deschanel and Boreanaz. Her upcoming role to assist on solving a murder case involving a fantasy football, it appears that it is going to be her field of expertise.
The finales of the show's 10th season ended when the characters of Deschanel and Boreanaz move to a new town and have new jobs but were called back in to help the FBI solve a new murder case. Their 11th season is set to premiere on October 11 at 8pm on Fox.
