Kim Kardashian second pregnancy seems to be a lot better than the first. On an interview with a magazine, the "Keeping up with the Kardashians" star reveals that due to her pregnancy complication, she might undergo hysterectomy soon after giving birth.
Kim, 34, spoke to C magazine, where she appeared in the September magazine cover and told she went through a lot in order to get pregnant again the second time. The reality star dished that she has the condition known as placenta accrete. She and her husband Kanye tried so hard to marathon for their next baby.
"It doesn't seem like that to me, though. It was over a year of trying, and I had so many complications. I had this condition called placenta accreta. There were a couple of little operations to fix all that, so that created a little hole in my uterus, which I think made it really tough to get pregnant again."
"It was a long road. I would go to the doctor in Beverly Hills every day at five in the morning to get tested to see if I was ovulating. I was trying everything: I did acupuncture and got a nutritionist to eat healthier, thinking that was an issue."
The model and entrepreneur claims that she and Kanye made ovulation parties that wherever he goes, she goes. She claims she show up in cities where the music mogul performs or has work. Usually, his bandmates know it already saying, "Oh, she's ovulating."
The 34-year-old KUWTK star fears that when the doctors found out that she has the placenta accrete again, she'll loose her uterus and she'll not be able to have kids anymore, Daily Mail reports.
"They think I'll have placenta accreta again, so if the placenta grows a little bit deeper than it did last time, then they are prepared to have my uterus removed, which is a little scary for me."
According to American Pregnancy Association, placenta accrete is the condition where the placenta attaches too deeply in the uterine wall. There is about 1 in every 2,500 pregnancies cases of placenta accrete, perceta or increta. The differences of the placenta's condition lies on the severity of the attachment of the placenta to the uterine wall.
