‘Finding Dory’: Ellen Degeneres Spills Plot Anti-aquatic Storyline; Sequel Delve On Dory’s Backstory

The movie "Finding Dory" is a follow up movie from the original "Finding Nemo." Ellen Degeneres discloses that the plot of movie contains an anti-aquatic message. The movie will center on the previous life of Dory prior to meeting Nemo.

A report from 4 Your Excitement says that "Finding Dory" is a sequel by Pixar from the original 2003 film "Finding Nemo." For more than 13 years now Nemo's sidekick becomes the main star in this upcoming film. However, Degeneres, who voices Dory, presumes that Sea World and other aquatic owners might possibly receive a lot of flak because of this movie. Pointing out just like how the 2013 documentary "Blackfish" a lot of controversy for those at Sea World because of their low upkeep on the aquatic life in their care.

Crossmap quotes Ellen Degeneres on her opinion about captive aquatic animals in particular. Degeneres voices over Dory herself in "Finding Dory" and even in the prequel. Degeneres thinks that fish should be in the ocean. She adds that it is what the whole plot is about. Where fish are put into captivity to be rehabilitated and then once recovered is released back into the ocean. Degeneres stresses the importance of actually protecting wildlife in the ocean after that.

Ecumenical News says that the story trails Dory in her quest to search for her parents after being born in captivity and released in the ocean. Dory's parents will be voiced over by Diane Keaton as Jenny and Eugene Levy as Charlie. Jim Morris, president for Pixar, reveals that the setting of the animated film will be at the Marine Biology Institute of California. CBIC is a marine life rehabilitation center.

"Finding Dory" will dive into theaters on June 17, 2016. Other than Dory and her parents there will be other characters that will be featured. Of course Nemo (Hayden Rolence) and his dad (Albert Brooks). Destiny (Kaitlin Olson) a whale-shark who also happens to be Dory's adopted sister, Bailey a beluga whale (Ty Burrell), a bad-tempered octopus named Hank (Ed O'Neill) who lacks a limb, now a septapus. Others are Idris Elba and Dominic West is also set to join the fun. Moviegoers and fans alike will surely enjoy the swim and talk about the movie even days after.
