Director Jeremy Podeswa of the first two episodes of "Game Of Thrones" Season 6 promised in an interview that it will start off with a bang. He also talked about the rape scene between Sana Stark and Ramsay Bolton.
In a report by The Independent, Podeswa shared of the first two episodes of Season 6, "What's great about this season is that there's very little expository stuff. It starts off with a bang and you're right into the excitement of the story."
Podeswa pointed out that fans are excited and anxious about what happens in season 6 since season 5 was very much different from George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel series. He shared that he is equally nervous since there were many diversions from the original story and he feels that the audience is okay with the show going off-book stressing out that the fans are to be happy in what they will see in season 6, International Business Times reported.
In a report by Business 2 Community, Podeswa was also the one who directed the episode entitled "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken," where Sansa Stark was believed to be raped by Ramsay Bolton. He then talked about the reaction of the fans as he revealed that he was aware that a lot were freaking out about what happened to Sansa Stark in one of the episodes of "Game of Thrones" Season 5.
Podeswa shared that it was terrible for him to see what happens to a character that people are so invested in and that he understands why people who invested their emotions for the characters reacted the way they did regarding the scene of Sansa Stark and others. He even touched on the death of Jon Snow saying that the series kills off characters unexpectedly but did not give away information whether or not Snow will still be seen in "Game of Thrones" Season 6.
Do you think Jon Snow is still alive? Let us know in the comments. There has been no premiere date yet as to when Season 6 will be out.
