"Game of Thrones" Season 6's production has not yet begun but it is said to start anytime soon as everything is already set in a new location, which is in Spain. As for other reports about the series, director of the show Jeremy Podeswa talked about the faith of Jon Snow as fans of the show are excited to know what happened to the character after the season 5 finale cliffhanger.
Podeswa was asked whether or not Jon Snow is dead but he refused to give away any spoilers, Inquisitr reported. The director said, "Oh, you think he's dead, do you? Well. I'm not going to address whether he's dead or not." No one from the cast of "Game of Thrones" have given hints whether or not Snow will be coming back to life.
Podeswa added, "I've got nothing, watch the show it's going to be great. Jon Snow's death was another huge storytelling thing. It's the definition of a cliff-hanger: where does the story go from here?" Podeswa directed the first two episodes of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 as reported by Screen Crush. He also talked about the plot of the upcoming season hinting that they have gone past what was written by George R.R. Martin so fans, who have read the book, are to expect new plot twists.
Regarding the new location of where the cast of the show is filming, International Business Times reported that the set is at Pechina in Almeria, Spain. The set is already in the works and the production will begin shortly thereafter the set is completed. However, it remains under the wraps what the set would look like in order to add to the growing anticipation of the fans of the show.
Other sites in Spain where the cast will shoot are in Gerona, Navarra, Barcelona, Santa Florentina, Peniscola, and Zafra.
