After months of release, Dead or Alive 5 received praises from different diehard gamers around the globe with its improvements and some of its notable additions for the game. One of those is adding Honoka, the new female character for DOA5. Recently, the game also surpassed the number of downloads worldwide according to Koei Tecmo's announcement.
Based from the most recent news popped out online, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round reached more than four million downloads. Koei Tecmo, the game publisher announced a week ago that they celebrated their success through running a special campaign from August 25 until the next week around September 4.
Part of this special campaign is the chance for the fans to enjoy "Leifang" to be played with free of charge all throughout the weeks of celebration. Aside from that, they will also experience the decreased prices for the add-ons for the game.
Another exciting thing that the publisher mentioned is the availability of Core Fighters for free and at the same time a paid version of the game demo for Xbox One. For those in PlayStation versions, the demo will made free, however, the game cannot be expanded unlike the other current generation version.
According to the source, the paid version will contain four additional characters for Xbox One and at the same time the prices will also be reduced. Unfortunately, this paid version is only available for those players situated in Japan. The publisher never mentioned about its accessibility to those gamers in North America, Europe, or in UK. Hopefully, Koei Tecmo will be able to expand this treat to their fans in these continents.
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Collector's Edition is still out and available as seen through their official website. Based from the developer's post, the game will be exclusive to some retailers. The said Collector's Edition will contain sensual swimsuits for the game's female characters and some deluxe set of the physical and in-game items packed in sleek metal case.
