'Gosspi Girl' actress, Blake Lively recently designed a custom bag named after her eight month daughter, James Reynold. The fashionista mom is known for loving fashion, and all the accessories that go with it; however this time, the 27 year old beauty decided it was time for her to make a fashion statement. With the help of Sandast, Blake has designed a 'custom made baby bag' which has been named 'James.'
According to the Daily Mail UK, the 'James' bag that Blake Lively recently introduced costs a whopping $860 per piece. The bag that was custom made, are hand-distressed with detailed plaid lining and were handcrafted in the USA. The leather bag comes in cognac and blue shades of premium Horween leather which may explain its heavy price.
In another report from Eonline, Blake Lively's daughter, James, was born in January of this year, but it wasn't until May that Blake announced that she had put her name behind two new fashion collections. Amour Vert, and Sam & Lavi are the two fashion collections that recently joined Blake's artisan goods website, 'Preserve.' It wasn't until recently that the actress model introduced her latest achievement, the 'James' bag.
Though the price of the bag may come to a shock for some, considering the prices of other bags such as the Hermes Birkin which ranges from $10,000 to $100,000, the 'James' bag isn't really that bad a price for value.
ETonline reported that the latest accessories Blake Lively introduced came after her previously designing a dress that was Amour Vert approved, and is available on her Preserve website. Blake openly admitting to already saving clothes for her little girl for when she grows up, which may explain the excitement Blake has in designing and preparing accessories focused around her daughter.
With the 'James' bag now ready for sale, Blake Lively can sit back and watch as customers purchase the bag she designed and named after her daughter. With the success of Blake's website and products being purchased online, Blake Lively may have a lot more in store for her fans and supported that love artisan goods.
