The Samsung's latest 8 and 9.7 metal-framed Galaxy Tab S2 tablets which also thought as the "thinnest and lightest tablets s ever are now open for pre-orders and will reportedly hit the shops on September 3.
The GSM Arena reports that Samsung has made the Galaxy Tab S2 as the thinnest and lightest in its class intended to invite the attention from existing and potential Apple iPad buyers fascinated customers. Since the Tab S2 comes in 5.6mm waistline and 389 grams of weight, it was said to go smoother and lighter than the already impossibly thin Apple iPad Air 2.
It seems that the new Tab S2 currently holds the title of being the lightest and thinnest tablet the world has witnessed which is 16 percent thinner than its predecessor for only having a 5.5mm thickness for both the 9.7-inch and 8.0 inch versions. It also beats the former world's thinnest Dell Venue 8 7840 by more than 8 percent, reports Christian Post.
Moreover, the latest Galaxy Tab S2 said to feature Super AMOLED displays where it offers off deep, sharp and vibrant colors that will surely be appreciated by its users. It gets a 2,048 x 1,536 pixels screen resolution while being powered by Samsung's Exynos chip altogether with an octal-core CPU that will permit users to perform multi-tasking functions flawlessly. The tablet said to be supported by 3GB of RAM, and will work on Android v5.0.2 Lollipop.
The Tab S2 said to come available in black, white and gold color options, and will carry a huge 5,870 mAh battery unit for the bigger version and a a 4,000 mAh unit for the smaller one. It will reportedly sort an 8-megapixel back shooter and a 2.1-megapixel front snapper.
What's more, a report from Mashable stated that the latest flagship will also have two depressible metal pins at the Tab S2's right edge which are placed for upcoming covers and accessories. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2's back is also clearly made from two pieces of plastic.
The tablet is reportedly out now in Singapore, and will come available in the US On September 3. The pre-orders can already be placed today.
