As Monster Hunter X or Monster Hunter Cross has recently received a handful of updates for the past number of months, newer ones have just made waves all over the worldwide web with regard to weaponry, gameplay, features, and even the monsters. That being said, a new one has just been announced, and explained as to how the name of the said creature came to be.

According to Geek Snack, it is common in all the entries of the game to have a new monster alongside the updates and features added each one. New monsters will appear in the title; never before seen. One of the said monsters is what the fans know as the dragonfly monster, as the fans have known it as.

Just like the entities and weapons that were recently announced, this particular monster was further explained by the creators, as reported by Siliconera. The particular dragonfly monster was aptly named Raizekusu, which is the name that will be used for the Japanese version of Monster Hunter X. Definitively, the name Raizekusu has the Japanese word rai, which means thunder in Japanese-making it safe to assume that the character will have electric or thunder-based offense.

Chinatopix delivered that new weapons and features were showcased in multiple videos online, and specifically two different ones that were already put to use. The said weapons have specific traits that permits a player's preference to come into play. This will be favorable to those who wish to diversify their styles in terms of hunting.

For Japan, Monster Hunter X is slated for release on November 28, 2015 and is exclusive for Nintendo 3DS. As for North America and Europe, no confirmation has been made yet, however, the utter success of Monster Hunter 4 is somewhat enough to be considered a push to release the franchise in the western countries.
