‘Assassin’s Creed Movie’ Update: Film Retains Original Storyline; Michael Fassbender's Role Details Revealed

"Assassin's Creed" movie seems to be different from all other movie adaptation of games since it will stick to its original storyline. Aside from its plot, updates of the said adaptation is the new cast Michael Fassbender.

Franchise Herald states that the "Assassin's Creed" movie is coming to the theater soon. The Ubisoft Entertainment Head of content for "Assassin's Creed" Azaïzia Aymar has finally disclosed to its fans the things to expect in the movie adaptation. Aymar, who makes sure the brand consistency of Ubisoft, has taken on twitter some spoilers of the upcoming movie.

First thing that Aymar reveled via his twitter account is the role the new cast member Michael Fassbender. According too him, Fassbender will be playing the lead character of "Assassin's Creed" movie. However, he would play two characters in the film, of course he would be the "modern-day Callum Lynch" at the same time "Aguilar," his ancestor in the past. He also tweeted that the characters of Altair, Ezio, and Connor are not part of the movie. But Aymar promised that there would be other familiar characters.

Thugh Aymr didnt not explain the modern-day Callum Lynch character of Fassbender, it has been reported by Christian Post that this new character is especially created for the movie. Michael Fassbender will not only get on-board as an actor playing the lead role but also as a co-producer of the film.

Ubergizmo says that while other video game-cum-movies tend to deviate from its original story, the movie of "Assassin's Creed" vows to be connected to one another. It has also been reported of the future of this video game franchise. The current movie adaptation will "affect future comics and books that are made about the Assassin's Creed universe." it also means that whatever is seen on future games would strongly influence the future movie of the said franchise.

"Assassin's Creed" movie is scheduled to hit theaters on Dec. 21, 2016.
