On September 9, the much-awaited product launch event of Apple will take place in San Francisco's Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. The company's latest innovations are expected to be shown: the iPhone 6S, the new Apple TV with Siri support, and possibly the new iPads and other devices like the iPhone 6C according to leaked information.
Looking back in the previous years, Apple events have always been held on the month of September. This led to speculations by the public that Apple will do the same this year. Recently, cryptic media invitations with the phrase "Hey Siri, give us a hint" made their appearances online and confirmed the date of this year's unveiling. The September 2015 launch event is considered as one of the biggest in Apple's history, considering the size of the venue.
iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus
Expect the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6S Plus, its slightly bigger brother, to make their appearances in the Apple launch. According to Digital Spy, these two iDevices which have been the subject of current leaks, will be the stars of the show. The iPhone 6S is rumored to feature the Force Touch display and a new casing and inner mechanical design to prevent bending issues. Like its Samsung Galaxy s6 competitor, it will come with a 12 MP rear camera with flash for high resolution photo and video capture. The new iPhones will also run the latest iOS 9.
Apple TV plus Siri
The new Apple TV will also make its way to the event, with its new Siri support feature, motion sensors for gaming, and integrated App Store. The Week states that the new TV set-top box will be priced much higher than the third-generation Apple TV. Another impressive upgrade for the new Apple TV is its universal search feature allowing for simple movie searching in multiple channels.
iPad Pro and iPad Mini 4
Based on 9to5Mac's report, new iPads are believed to be debuted on the event such as the much-anticipated iPad Pro and the new iPad Mini 4. It is further stated that the iPad Pro is scheduled to be released to the public on November. Meanwhile, the iPad Mini 4 will have a revamped processor and cameras, Force Touch-based stylus, and iOS 9 software. It is still unsure whether the iPads' launch will push through on September 9 or will come out in a separate event on October or early November.
There are rumors that the more budget-friendly iPhone 6C will also be included in the September 2015 Apple launch event, though these are still unconfirmed. One thing is for sure: with the size of the launch event venue, Apple surely has something special to offer the tech world this year.
