Venus Williams is known as one of the best female tennis players in the world. After being the former World No.1 player and just last February being named the World No. 11 in singles, Venus has earned the popularity and hearts of her fans and supporters all over the world. However, just recently Venus accomplished something she had been dreaming of for a long time; graduating from a university with a business degree.

In a report from Eonline, the famous tennis player recently received her diploma for a degree in Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. The 35 year old USA tennis player, Venus Williams did it the old fashion way by going back to school at the Indiana University where she put her head in the books and studied hard.

According to WTA Tennis, Venus Williams enrolled herself in an online course in 2011. Four years later the tennis star proudly picked up her hard earned diploma last month. Though Venus did all her work online, she proudly took foot on the university's ground for her graduation ceremony where she enjoyed the traditional ceremony. In an interview Venus stated how at home she felt working with the Indiana University saying, "It was just a wonderful experience. I love being a Red Wolf. I love this school and I'm so happy to be a part of it."

INDY Star reported that Venus has already previously taken up and finished an associate degree in fashion design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 2007. Williams proudly admitted that the lessons she learned during her 4 year business course has helped her with her own business. The different strategies and knowledge from her course were applied to her business that has gained much success. Venus currently has various projects and businesses such as clothing lines.

For now, the famous tennis player is back in the game as she prepares for her current tennis games this month. Venus Williams has been overwhelmed with the love and support she has received from her fans and supporters throughout her journey. After finishing her 4 year course and receiving her diploma, Venus Williams hopes she will be an inspiration for other athletes who are currently doing online courses like she did.
