Chris Brown has been going through a rough patch recently with different lawsuits regarding him and his custody over his 1 year old daughter Royalty. However, just recently the 26 year old singer and dancer found himself wound up in a completely different law case. After a shooting went out during Chris Browns nightclub premiere last January, an injured fan has filed a complaint against Chris Brown and his team. The complainant is suing the famous singer for negligence and improper security measures.

According to Eonline, Paul Briley is suing Chris Brown and Fiesta Nightclub for negligence after a shooting took place while the 26 year old was performing last January 10. During the incident 5 fans were injured by gun wounds. It wasn't until a few days ago that the Paul Briley filed the complaint stating that he is suing the Brown team for failing to provide adequate security, and failing to implement security procedures.

Times Live reported that the plaintiff is now seeking damages for the mental, physical, and emotional pain that he suffered from due to the incident. Damages are also being seeked for the continuous mental and emotional suffering Paul Briley is experiencing because of the shot. After hearing about the law case being thrown at Brown, Brown's representatives were able to comment on the latest update of the case, and give their opinion on the matter.

In a report from Hiphopdx, a representative of Brown stated that the lawsuit was 'frivolous,' and believes that the case will quickly be dismissed. After the complainant took 8 months before filing the complaint, and with the backup of Browns lawyers, the possibility of suing Chris Brown seems unlikely.

The representative of Brown also stated that in order to avoid future reoccurring meritless lawsuits directed at the singer, Browns lawyers plan to seek damages from all parties and their lawyers."

In the mean time, Chris Brown is currently fighting over his rights for his 1 year old daughter with baby mama Nia Guzman. Though the latest complaint against Chris Brown will not affect his current custody lawsuit, the stress and inconvenience of the shooting situation does not help. At the moment lawyers are preparing to voice out their side, and believe that the charges and complaints will easily be dropped.
