LG is updating its high tiered devices into Android 6.0 Marshmallow soon

LG has given information regarding the update on some of its devices to Android 6.0 Marshmallow once the new software becomes available. These devices include G4, G Flex 2 and the upcoming LG Pad II 10.1 tablet. Google has announced the release of Android 6.0 late 2015 to early 2016.

LG Company will update some of its current and future devices once the new software becomes available to consumers. LG Flex 2 is one of the devices that will receive Android Marshmallow. The device is currently supported by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, according to Yibada. Further, the upcoming LG phablet, called G4 Pro was noted in Neuro Gadget that it will receive the new software. Another LG device which is the upcoming Pad II 10.1 is also believed to get Marshmallow.

Related report also mentioned some of LG devices that are certainly not going to receive Android 6.0. These devices include the G2, G Flex, and other low-tier LG phones like the G Pro. More so, devices such as G3, G Pad 10.1, G Pad X 8.2, and G Pad II 8 are still unclear if it will be updated to the new software once it is released by Google.

On the other hand, Gospel Herald reported that the consumer version of Android 6.0 will be available as soon as it is currently in beta phase. At the moment, only few devices are experiencing the Developer's Preview like Nexus 5, 6, 9, and Nexus Player. LG Company did not provide further information on its other devices which will receive the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow, according to Slash Gear.

LG is one of the companies which update its devices' software from time to time. The announcement from the smartphone company might bring good news for those who own such aforementioned high-tiered devices. Meanwhile, Google has never given the exact release date of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
