Senior XDA Developers release a patch for Mobile Radio Active bug

Software developers have launched alternative patches to resolve the issue of Mobile Radio Active bug. The bug affects the java file of the battery service management which causes severe battery drain and low performance. The affected devices are the ones supported by Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Senior XDA Developers released some alternative options on how to fix the problem that the Mobile Radio Active bug has brought, IB Times noted. As part of the alternative, the developers said to flash the modded CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM, with a codename of cm-12.1 to fix the bug. This method is most applicable in Xperia ZL.

Another alternative to kill such bug is to install Bazoocaze in the form of Xposed module. For this method to be effective, XDA Developers said in the related news that Xposed Framework has to be installed first.

More so, Cyanogen Community has to wait for future development of Xposed Radio Active module in order to counteract the work of Mobile Radio Active bug in affected devices. Nonetheless, recent news provides a link to click in for users, who would like to try the alternative resolution for their OnePlus One devices. Gammerson also posts the step by step procedure on how to manually download the Xposed Radio Active module in the affected users' devices.

On the other hand, Mobile Radio Active bug or call standby bug is the latest virus that causes technical issues to Android devices, especially those that have Android 5.0 Lollipop version. Error occurs in NetworkMangementService.java file because of failure of radio power down notification in Battery Stats. This situation causes severe battery drain and low performance to smartphones, according to recent news.
