For the first time since the operation, Caitlyn Jenner finally met ex-wife Kris Jenner. The first meeting according to sources within the Jenner family actually happened off camera when Kris visited Caitlyn in her home.
According to the ET Online, the first time on camera though has been taped for the E! show "I am Cait", a docuseries following the life of Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce Jenner. The episode which will be aired on September 6 will show the meeting of the two in its entirety. For now, people following the Jenner family drama can catch a glimpse of the meeting between the two.
Bruce Jenner, the Olympian and Kris split up in 2014 after which the former announced that he will be having an operation to be a transgender woman. After the operation, the Olympian opted to go by a new name, Caitlyn. The 65-year old had been married to Kris Jenner for 23 years and they had two kids, Kendall and Kylie. The two kids are the main reason according to Caitlyn why she doesn't want any animosity between her and Kris.
Just Jared wrote their serious conversation. "We've moved on, both of us, but I don't want to throw all of the good times away," said Caitlyn. "And for the kids, Kendall and Kylie, I don't want tension. I don't want to put them in a tough position. This is really very, very difficult."
The teaser clip for the September 6 episode showed Kris complimenting Caitlyn Jenner on her choice of footwear. Kris also brought some cookies for the woman who used to be her husband. While the meeting was warm, the tension came right back when the two started to talk with an ominous sounding "So?" from Caitlyn. The clip was cut off at that point so for those wanting to see what happened, the episode will air at 8PM on the 6th on E!
This could be the first of many appearances by Kris on Caitlyn's show or it could be her last depending on how the two manage their differences. Caitlyn though has already stated that the split was due to " 20 gender and 80 percent was the way I was treated."
