This Taiwanese multinational manufacturer of top quality smartphones and tablets has officially announced that the latest Android OS will be available to its three newest smartphones, namely the HTC One M8, HTC One M9, and HTC One M9 Plus.

Gordon said that Android M update will be available for HTC One M9 and HTC One M9 Plus along with the other devices, but not revealing the exact date as to when will this happen. However, there is a possibility that it will be launched in October.
The 'M' in Android M stands for Marshmallow as revealed by Google. Android Marshmallow is set to be released this fall. According to The Verge, this upcoming OS update "includes a simpler approach to permissions (while giving users more granular control over what information apps can access), Google's new Android Pay mobile wallet platform, USB Type-C support, and a number of tweaks and improvements throughout the operating system. It succeeds Android 5.0 Lollipop, which brought significant user interface and visual changes to the software last year."
Android Marshmallow is anticipated to reach the other high-end handsets in the next few months. It is expected to be a big upgrade and it will bring various improvements as well as changes to the devices. To all the Android users and fans out there, especially the HTC One M8, HTC One M9, and HTC One M9 Plus owners, keep waiting patiently and this update will soon come and be finally available.
