A new official PS4 ad has revealed that the most awaited Persona 5 will get a 2016 release date in Europe, although, the game will still be coming to Japan and North America in 2015.
VideoGamer reported that based on Sony's print ad uncovered in most recent issue of the Edge magazine indicates a set of launch calendar for myriad of PS4 titles and Persona 5 is listed to release in 2016 for Europe, however, both Japan and North American players will still be albe to get their hands on the game before end of 2015.
The said calender contains tons of 2016 Sony's PS4 promising new titles in development which include both first-party exclusive and huge third-party games.
As reported earlier, scoops of gameplay details for Persona 5 release to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita were provided online courtesy of Dengeki PlayStation which is noted to be working with publisher Atlus in disseminating information that is a good as a public press release incognito.
Gematsu wrote that a coverage issue of Weekly Famitsu previously revealed exciting details on Awakening, Attack System, Coop Mode, and more infomation surrounding the upcoming release of Persona 5.
The Awakening feature is theorized by the magazine that the scene with the protagonist in blue flames enveloping from the trailer showed the awakening to his Persona and another side of himself different from the one he reveals in public. These Blue flames are said to become masks.
Similar to Sneak feature included in Persona 3 and Persona 4, symbol encounter system will be used in battles, thus, gamers can see enemies on screen and take on the fight by colliding into them but can also evade contact with enemis by sneaking around in order to continue.
Moreover, the gang-up footage confirmed the return of the All-Out Attack System which dwells on exploits of enemies' weaknesses to target. There is also a speculation of Cooperation menu option system to replace Social Links in building allies.
Persona 5 is the fifth iteration of the franchise developed by P Studio and published by Atlus. The AAA title is exclusive for PlayStation consoles, PS4, PS3 and PS Vita pegged to be released in Japan and US this 2015, 2016 in Europe.
