A free update pack for the Battlefield Hardline will come with the next DLC release set this month of September offering several new weapons and gadgets. The Robbery DLC, on the other hand, will feature the largest Precinct 7 Snowy Suburban map alongside other maps, lots of weapons, gadgets, and vehicles.
In Battlefield Hardline new video, players can view a fly-through of the upcoming snowy map with its structures, landmarks, and hiding places. EA stated via the official website that Precinct 7 is going to be the largest map in the Robber DLC that will take place in a police station in Detroit.
The post reads, "It features two floors, a labyrinthine basement, and a bevy of ways to break in and infiltrate the most important room of all: the evidence locker. Criminals may decide to target nearby substations to knock out power and lights to the Precinct; alternatively, the weather-weakened roof of a nearby warehouse could provide a gadget-loving operator with a new approach".
In earlier report from IB Times, a total of 11 new weapons will be possibly added in the next expansion pack. These assault rifles are F2000, MDC, Famas and RPK, an FN57 handgun, a Scorpion (CZ 3A1) PDW, a Barrett M82.50 Cal Semi-Auto sniper rifle, a Saiga 12 shotgun, an M1 Carbine, an MP7 PDW and a throwing knife.
Also, the Robbery DLC will feature a new Squad Heist game mode as a tribute to Battlefield 4's Squad Rush as announced by Visceral Games. This game mode will have three distinct stages, the first two require criminals to get some loot inside a vault while the last stage will see them get away from the scene.
Other than the release of the upcoming paid DLC in September is a free update pack that will add several new weapons and gadgets. These will include a fire-resistant (FR) mask that can be used to prevent fire damage, a new Carbine rifle that makes more damage contrary to other Carbines, and a new side-arm that will be able to pack a punch.
Weapons popular to gamers will also be added in Battlefield Hardline free update pack, the list of such are as follows:
- Assault rifle for the Operator class- It fires 5.56MM x 45MM at 850 rounds-per-minute, and is most effective in medium-ranged combat.
- Shotgun for the Enforcer class- This is a semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun that's extremely effective in close-quarters.
- Sniper Rifle for the Professional class- This semi-automatic sniper rifle shoots a .416 round, and is a go-to weapon for long-range combat.
- SMG for the Mechanic class- This SMG fires a 9mm bullet and is great for the short-to-medium ranged game.
- SMG for all classes- SMG-style weapon that fires rounds that can penetrate body armor; great short-to-medium ranged weapon.
The Robbery DLC is expected to arrive this September at a price of $40 while the update pack is totally free to gamers. The 3rd DLC called Gateway will be launched next before year-end and the last DLC, Betrayal, will be out early 2016.
