During Beyonce's Made In America festival performance, the music icon mentioned Ronda Rousey's now famed "Do Nothing B---h" clip before kicking of her powerful act. Husband JAY Z was also spotted in the crowd, happily singing to his wife's songs.
According to MMA Junkie, during a recent Beyonce show, the R&B artist performed her famous song "Diva" during Budweiser's Made In America festival on Saturday. But prior to the performance, Ronda Rousey's voice was played in the video presentation for the concert.
As usual, Beyonce gave words of encouragement and empowerment to the crowd of screaming supporters. She even set the bar high as a background dancer moved to the words of Angelou's classic "Phenomenal Woman" in between her songs. But the crowd reacted greatly when the words from Rousey was heard, talking about girls who fall under the category of "do-nothing chicks."
UFC President Dana White even took to Twitter as she noticed the clip of the Rousey's statements, which firstly came in an episode of "UFC 190 Embedded". The said event took place before the UFC champ's Aug. 1 fight against challenger Bethe Correia. The famous clip stated, "I have this one term for the kind of woman that my mother raised me to not be, and I call it a 'do-nothing b-tch."
As claimed, she's definitely the type of female fighter who would really voice out what she thinks. Rousey notably lessened criticisms against her masculine body by describing "DNB," a person who puts in nothing other than their superficial features. She even spilled out, "I'm just like, 'Listen. Just because my body was developed for a purpose other than f-cking millionaires doesn't mean it's masculine. I think it's femininely badass as f-ck because there's not a single muscle on my body that isn't for a purpose. Because, I'm not a do-nothing b-tch.'"
Surrounded by the 60,000 attendees were a couple of her well- known friends, including fellow Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, as well as Nick Jonas. Concert goers also managed to spot JAY Z in the crowd. As mentioned by Hypertrak, he was caught proudly singing along to his wife's songs. Fans took to Twitter how Jay Z ecstatically supported Beyonce, saying. "jay really love the hell out of his wife, man." Another fan also tweeted, "Jay Z was rocking hard as f*ck... Supporting his wife Beyonce ... You gotta respect it."
Meanwhile, Beyonce also executed her hits "7/11," "Ring the Alarm," "Run the World," "Flawless," "Halo," "Love on Top" and "Drunk In Love." Other performers aside from the "Diva" singer included Modest Mouse, Nick Jonas and Meek Mill.
