Google will hold an event on September 29 which is believed to be the release date of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Along with the release of the new software is the launch of new Nexus 6 and Nexus 5. Google also confirmed some of the exciting things that the new software offers.

This is supported by a report that the final stage of the process is almost done. Nexus 5 will be powered by LG and Nexus 6 will be powered by Huawei.
In the related report, the new software will support Doze technology which will enable Android devices to have longer battery life through conservation. The mechanism of such technology is it will stop apps and will put the phone into a low-power state upon long inactivity. This is helpful for Android users with such OS especially when charger is not available.
Android 6.0 will also offer Android Pay which is another method of paying for purchases. It is believed that the new mobile pay platform can be utilized in restaurants, fast foods, or various stores that have the app's logo, recent report noted. This application is very accessible and convenient since subscribers do not need to pick up wallets and enter long pin numbers when paying. Another amazing feature is called fingerprint recognition. This will tie up with Android pay for security reasons.
