Vin Diesel's latest film "The Last Witch Hunter" from Lionsgate has released two new posters and promotional images. In advance for the movie's release in October, the action-horror film featuring Diesel, unveiled teasers for the movie goers.
The posters for "The Last Witch Hunter" shows the bearded 13th Century witch hunter Kaulder played by Diesel. Alongside the posters are the new promo shots that also feature Diesel's Kaulder, Elijah wood that plays as the 37th Dolan and Rose Leslie who plays as Chloe, a white witch.
"The Last Witch Hunter" is a supernatural action film starring Diesel as an ageless warrior. His mission is to save the planet from the most powerful and evil witches who ever walked the Earth. He had defeated and killed the Queen of the Witches in the ancient times. The wicked witch cursed him with that he may never reunite with his loved ones in the afterlife through immortality. He is the last of his kind, living all the way up through the present times.
"The Last Witch Hunter" is based on a script written by Cory Goodman who was also the writer for "Priest." The movie is directed by Breck Eisner. The film casts include Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones' Ygritte), Elijah Wood and Michael Caine.
Diesel had stated that it was his dream as a child to work with seasoned actor Michael Caine and now working with the man in his newest film is definitely a dream come true.
He said that he was prepared to take a year off from making movies after the box office hit "Furious 7." However, he jumped straight to "The Last Witch Hunter" which he also produces just to get the one thing he wanted, needed and dreamed of, which was working with Michael Caine.
"It has been my ambition to work with him since I was a child. I am a little loopy right now. I have been working with my hero," Diesel said in a statement.
"The Last Witch Hunter" is set to release in October 23. And is said to be on talks with a sequel "Axe and Cross," according to Diesel.
