Amidst the speculations that she broke up with boyfriend Austin Stowell, Nina Dobrev seemed to prove the reports wrong once again. Now, the former "Vampire Diaries" lead actress is busy collaborating with other celebrities to lift up awareness for sexual assault happening on college campuses.

According to Entertainment Weekly, President Barack Obama's "It's On Us" latest PSA campaign featured famous faces, including that of the "TVD" star's. Other famed stars also took part in the video for awareness include Zoe Saldana, Matt McGorry, Minka Kelly, Jesse Metcalfe, Haim, John Cho, Jessica Szohr and Josh Hutcherson.

The PSA started off when Saldana said, "There's one thing you can never have sex without," to which Matt McGorry noted, "It's not something you buy," "or something you take," added Minka Kelly. "In fact, there's only one way to get it," Jesse Metcalfe claimed. Haim, then, stressed, "It has to be given to you, freely." John Cho mentioned, "It's consent." "Because sex without it," emphasized by Dobrev, "isn't sex," said Jessica Szohr. "It's rape," Josh Hutcherson stated point blank. Saldana finished off the video by reminding everyone, "If you don't get, you don't get it."

The PSA project revolves around the topic of "consent". On the theme of the campaign, famous celebrities mutually shared a message about getting a consent before sexual intercourse. If there is no consent between the two parties, then by that time, it is considered rape, as mentioned by Gossip Cop.

On the flip side of the issue, the actress' fans seemed to be wondering how the star is holding up with her love life with new beau Austin Stowell. Despite the many rumors that Dobrev and Stowell were splitting up, the couple seemed to remain unaffected with the never dying issue. As reported, the new couple was spotted packing major PDAs in New York.

The 26- year old "TVD" lead and the 30- year old actor were saying goodbye to each other when they were spotted having their PDA moments on the street. It seemed like they didn't care about the people around them as they exchanged kisses and hugs in public. The former "Vampire Diaries" star and the "Whiplash" star couldn't get their hands off each other, Pop Sugar reported.

The said campaign is set to launch this September with a website that includes a promise to "help keep women and men safe from sexual assault." As of the mean time, Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell seemed to be getting along just fine. The couple remains to be romantic to each other despite of the roaming split rumors.
