Shia LaBeouf debuts his new look at the red carpet premier of his latest movie, "Man Down." The actor was spotted prim and proper as he ditches his ruggedly scruffy appearance at the Venice Film Festival in Italy on Sunday.
LaBeouf, 29, was looking sharp and smart with his Black Tuxedo and a bow tie. The "Transformers" actor also shaved his head that totally left his strange, mullet/rattail hairstyle. He posed for photos with his hands clutched in front of his torso, Daily Mail reports.
While talking to the reporters, "The Fury" actor dished that making the film "Man Down"with director Dito Montiel was like a "recovery process," EW reports.
"He came to my house when I was in a really low place and offered it to me like therapy, like, 'Here's a healing process so we can jump into together and get well,'" LaBeouf told the reporters of the director. The two worked together in the 2006's film, "A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints."
The 29-year-old actor is like a new man with his clean-inspired look. Back in March, he was first seen sporting the mullet/rattail hairdo that left people wondering. He also started wearing Leonardo DiCaprio-esque beard, according to Hollywood Life.
The new LaBeouf stirred rumors whether a girl was behind his new fresh appearance. He rocked the headlines in the past months after he was seen constantly with his "American Honey"s costar Sasha Lane. One time, the two were seen cozy while in California as they walk holding hands.
LaBeouf, who has made odd public appearances with his erratic behavior was also arrested numerous times. He was taken into custody for harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass. Once, he arrived at the Berlinale International Film Festival with a bag over his head said saying "I am not famous anymore."
In July, a video of him and his former girlfriend Mia Goth surfaced when they fought in Germany. He was seen venting to a taxi driver after and contacting actress, Megan Fox through Facetime. From then on, LaBeouf and Goth were not seen together. They still haven't addressed the incident that made them famous again.
It's not clear what led Shia to shave his long hair and beard. Do you think Lane has something to do with it or it was a move for his upcoming film?
