The "Goosebumps movie" is a riotous movie that will show not one but all of the R.L. Stine's creation. It is set to be shown in theaters on October 16, 2015. Goosebumps is a movie adapted from a book of the same name and is directed by Rob Letterman. Sony Pictures has released a second trailer. While they're at it they already have a sequel in the works.

Slash Film reports that when Sony Pictures acquired "Goosebumps" books there was a sense of wonderment as to which volume they will place in a movie. They were limitless possibilities because R.L. Stine had 62 original books which were written in between 1992 to 1997. Not to mention the numerous creatures that he wrote about. To their surprise and to the delight of Goosebumps fans Sony smartly puts in all of them in one "Goosebumps movie." Main casted by Jack Black, Odeya Rush, Dylan Minette, Amy Ryan, Ken Marino, Ryan Lee, Jillian Bell, and Kumail Nanjiani.

We Got This Covered shares that the "Goosebumps movie" reminds us of the movie "Jumanji." The new trailer has already been released for the fans to have a sneak peek of the upcoming movie. It starts with Zach (Dylan Minnette) and his mother moves in to Greendale, Maryland as his mom lands a new job. He then comes to know their neighbor's daughter Hannah (Odeya Rush) where he finds out to be R.L. Stine's daughter. Zach found R.L. Stine to be hostile and weird as well as cold. Then one night he hears a scream coming from Hanna's house. Zach and his friend then secretly sneak into their house to find out what happened. But they accidentally come across Stine's books and accidentally open a book and release the monsters in it. From Gnoms to the gigantic abominable Snowman everything goes haywire from there. The next thing they know Zach, his friend, R.L. Stine and Hannah are on a mission to stop the monsters.

With the "Goosebumps movie" yet to hit theaters, Sony Pictures already cooking up a sequel according to Den of Geek. Jack Black, Dylan Minnete and Odeya Rush are reportedly signed in for the sequels. The hunt is out for a new screenwriter though. History of the supposed making of the movie dated as far back as the late 1990's. But interestingly was lost in the process but resurfaced in 2010. Jack black was signed up in 2014 then everything was fast tracked from there.
