iPad Mini 4 Rumor Roundup: Thinner, lighter device with A9 Processor, 7.9 inch display; Release date will be in October?

By

Apple is rumored to release its iPad Mini 4 in fall of 2015. But some information state that it might be on Apple's September 9 event at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium or sometime in October or even next year. Either way, all that is left to do is to wait and see when Apple will officially release this newest addition to its tablet lineup.

The latest iPad Mini 4 will be a smaller version of the iPad Air 2. It is expected to be thinner and lighter than the existing iPad Mini 3 with the same design features as the iPad Air 2, an improved 7.9-inch display, as well as an A9 processor. Moreover, it will have a laminated gapless display with the same anti-reflective coating, an ultra thin 6.1mm body, and an 8-megapixel iSight camera. More vivid colors, greater contrast, and thinner body are the result of its laminated display.

As seen in the leaked iPad Mini 4 photos, it has a rear shell that includes a single row of larger speaker holes, alongside the lightning port of the device and a microphone hole. Moreover, iPad Mini 4 will allow the user to use it under direct sunlight seamlessly.

The A8x or Apple A9 processor is alleged to power the new iPad Mini 4, along with 2 GB of RAM. It also comes with iOS 9 onboard, which allows split-screen multitasking to the users. The Force Touch may also be one of the sought-after features of the iPad Mini 4. This allows to tell a light tap from a more forceful press and responds differently accordingly. It is a smarter alternative to the different options that long presses provide on many devices.

Whether all the things mentioned above come out in the new iPad Mini 4 or not, Apple won't let its spectators get disappointed. Keep up-to-date with the latest news about this device and get a hold of it any time soon.
