Tyrant Season 3 update: FX Channel ends the show's contract; Third season is set to air on a different network

Tyrant Season 3 is not going to be renewed on FX Channel. But the third season will still be airing. This time it will be on a different network. There are alledgedly two networks who plan on pitching the show's continuation.

Tyrant is not moving forward for Season 3 on FX Channel. Tyrant Season 3 will no longer be aired in its existing network. However, the show is set to continue its upcoming season on a different network. The 3rd season continues to air on Netflix or Hulu.

In addition to that, majority of the fans opt for Hulu to help survive the 3rd season. However according to Christian Today, this is not yet confirmed and the renewal of Tyrant is yet to be announced.

The show's ratings suddenly drop and lost a crucial half a million audience. About 1.52 million of which did not return to watch the second season as reported on Variety. On the contrary, Tyrant relives on Fx and succeeded to air 12 episodes. That time, the show has garnered 1.18 million viewers and the show still managed to go on.

The first ever season of Tyrant has garnered 2.1 million viewers. However, Tyrant season 2 only garnered 1.6 million viewers. The second season ended in a way where the fans were left on a cliffhanger.

Suddenly when the show aired its 10th episode, the ratings got low with only 1.55 million viewers. Bustle reports that the low household ratings put the show in the risk of being cancelled. As of now, the TV series faces the same situation again.

Tyrant, an American drama series on FX Channel. The show first aired on television last June 2014. Despite of the show's continuous low ratings, the show still manages to be renewed. As of now, the question remains the same whether it is the end for Tyrant or not.
