Rookie Blue Season 6 ends all but with good vibes. Andy and Sam got married. Nick moved on from his frustrated love. Chloe and Dov seemed to be ringing the wedding bells next after Andy and Sam. And the other members of the Division got promoted. With so much goodness in the finale of season 6, the fans of this Canadian show fear however that it could be the last.
Rookie Blue, in the finale of season 6, came out to be romanticized when wedding bells were heard after lead characters Andy and Sam ended their run in the maze for six seasons in front of an altar. Executive producer Tassie Cameron revealed that from the very beginning of the show she has imagined a happy ending for Sam and Andy. She tells TV Line further that her primary goal was to make sure that their love affair was tied up in a way that was satisfying.
Sam and Andy weren't the only ones who had happy endings in the finale of season 6, Nick had his moment of goodbye with Andy too. Nick's and Andy's exchange of "I am happy for you." speaks of how Nick had forgiven Andy and of his intention to move on.
During the wedding ceremony of Sam and Andy, Chloe caught the bouquet and a lot are taking this as a sign of Don and Chloe being together. It could be inferred that the two would be having their moment too.
Meanwhile, three of the police officers working with Andy and Sam in the Division got promoted in the finale. Indeed all seems well with most of the characters in the show.
However, Master Herald leaks that as of today there aren't any news as for the renewal of Rookie Blue. But until Netflix has not released an announcement of the shows cancellation, the fans' hope of its return could still be a possibility.
Executive Producer Cameron already made an announcement that her role of being the show runner of Rookie Blue ends with season 6 finale. Cameron promises however to remain to be a consultant to Sherry White (could be the next show runner) once she is indeed of an advice according to Enstarz.
Meanwhile, as the fans awaits for the 7th season of Rookie Blue, Netflix is left with a decision of either to renew or to cancel the series.
