T-Mobile is slated to release the Android 6.0 Marshmallow later this month via over-the-air (OTA) update to LG G Stylo, LG Leon, and LG Optimus L90. As all devices have already received the final Lollipop software version except for Optimus L90, the Marshmallow update will give these devices a laundry list of new features and improvements.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be rolled out over the air and is downloadable via a Wi-Fi connection. Before proceeding to the installation, make sure the battery is charged up to at least 50 percent, while storage should have an extra memory space depending on the new software's file size.
The current status of LG G Stylo, LG Leon, and LG Optimus L90 devices are as follows:

To check the current software version of the phone, just go to Home > Apps > Settings > SYSTEMS > About phone > Software Info.
Here's a quick rundown to Marshmallow features:
- Emergency calls automatically appears with the nearest contact center and current location. The dialer performs some notable actions when dialing 911 or other registered emergency number. When dialed, the name of the number will appear on the screen, covered on a GPS map of your current location.
- The new API level 23 introduces support to the fingerprint scanner for a better enrolment experience. It will also bring better error reporting, and enumeration support. The user-facing app permission controls and behaviors have been changed.
- A rotatable home screen will now function in landscape format for apps and home screen.
- The new app drawer removes the alphabetical divider and idle space at the end of some sections. This makes the drawer to more faster. A delete option to the screenshot has been added in the notification drawer.
- Status bar icons can be personalized based on favorites or frequency of use. Those who are idle apps for quite some time users will have the option to remove them.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow will also features a RAM manager, network settings reset option, storage overhaul, personalized Chrome tabs, supports for Android Pay and USB Type-C, app links, and a lot more.
