Just this week, James Gunn, the writer and director of the "Guardians of the Galaxy", completed the second draft of the film. Since he already has an idea who will be suited for the new characters, he already began drafting the casting procedure.
Last Monday, his Twitter followers had the chance to ask him some random questions. The questions were merely about his new film, "Guardians of the Galaxy" volume two. When asked about the number of possible characters he included for the sequel, he said it wasn't that much; he wanted the characters to have more screen time unlike in the first film.
Another question was about connection of Laura Haddock's appearance in "Captain America: First Avenger" and his upcoming film. Gunn simply said he didn't know she was in the movie when he hired her. But then, he emphasized that he would hire her anyway.
Screenrant still presumed that Captain Marvel might still appear in the volume two regardless of how many times James Gunn has denied it before. They believe that this might be the right time to introduce the original Captain Marvel before Carol Danver take hold of her own 2018 movie.
According to Cinemablend, expect old and new characters in the film. Peter Quill, Gamora, Groot, Drax, Rocket Raccoon, and Yondu will be reprising their roles and Gunn promised that fans will be learning more about them. On the other hand, the others may or may not be featured. One thing's for sure though, the search for Star-Lord's 50% alien dad will be expected.
Due to the news that Hulk won't be included in Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War", rumors sprang out that Hulk might be joining the "Guardians of the Galaxy" volume 2. But, before the fans utterly jump into conclusions, James Gunn, cleared things out.
On a Twitter post, James Gunn replied to a random statement about the possibility of Hulk's presence in his film. He debunked the statement and threw his comment. "I will comment on it now (as I've done before) - there is zero chance you will see Hulk in GotGVol2," he stated.
If anyone could remember, Hulk was last seen leaving in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and no one knows where he headed. Probably, people believed that he went back to Planet Hulk. But, if Marvel plans to feature Planet Hulk, it is unlikely to happen in the "Guardians of the Galaxy".
Kevin Feige, president of Marvel, has also declared before that Hulk's appearance stories is "incorrect". However, it remains unclear unless fans see it themselves.
