'Avatar 2' Spoilers: Prison theme to be incorporated in the plot; theme parks to be created to promote the sequel and franchise

Pandora opens its doors once again in the upcoming "Avatar 2" and new claims have surfaced that a prison theme could be featured in the sequel. On the other hand, new reports suggest that James Cameron is planning new ways for the movie's elements to be experienced physically by fans.

As reported by the International Business Times, apparently a prison theme will be incorporated in the sequel of the hit 2009 film. Although it's not yet revealed whether the prison will hold human or Na'vi inmates, the new information was reportedly revealed by artist Gökşan Özman who is working on the film's poster.

Although not much has been divulged revealed regarding the film's plot, Inquisitr reported that director James Cameron is planning on creating a trilogy of the franchise and is creating all of the films simultaneously.

"We're writing three simultaneously. And we've done that so that everything tracks throughout the three films. We're not just going to do one and then make up another one and another one after that and parallel with that, we're doing all the design. So we've designed all the creatures and the environments", Cameron said.

Aside from the films, Master Herald reported that rumors have now surfaced about creating a theme park for the entire franchise which allows fans to experience the world of Avatar in a totally different way.

Details about the film are scarce, however. It was revealed that Cameron is working on a new technology which will allows them to film underwater. Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington are expected to return, as well as Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang, although they were assumed to have died in the previous film.

Cameron is sitting in the director's chair for Avatar 2, with the screenplay he wrote alongside Josh Friedman. It is set to hit theaters in 2017.
