Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date Set for Late 2016 or Later; Confirmed Disney Characters Announced

By

Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts 3 apparently belongs to some of the games that players have looked forward to, for the longest time. Even if the progress of the game is currently standing on good ground, the release date is still uncertain and most likely not as soon as wanted.

As recently reported by Yibada, the maps of the game are currently confirmed, but does not signify the utter completion of the game for the long run. The wait for the game will definitely be quite a bit longer than expected.

In terms of story, according to Comic Book, it was revealed during the E3 2015 event that the adventures of the protagonist Sora will be the main priority of the plot. In addition to this, other familiar faces, mainly Disney characters will take part in the said quests, such as Donald Duck, Goofy and Mickey Mouse. There will be more favorite characters that are to join them in the journey as they stop Master Xehanort's devious schemes.

Christian Post delivered that Game Director, Tetsuya Nomura was generous enough to state where exactly the game is on, in the progressive sense. He declared that the initial base foundation of Kingdom Hearts 3 has been made. Moreover, Kingdom Hearts 3 is under mass production development, which will include additional variables such as Disney worlds, mini-games and a load of others.

That being said, at the rate that the game's development is going, this could mean that the game will release around late 2016 to perhaps 2017. Final Fantasy XV, also by Square Enix, is considered to be one of the influences for the said upcoming game that will perhaps determine the near future of Kingdom Hearts 3.

Safe to assume for fans, Kingdom Hearts 3 will be launched to the public by winter, at the earliest of next year. Stay tuned for more news regarding Square Enix's awaited installment.
