With the release of 5 Seconds of Summer's second album nearing, fans are getting excited for what the Aussie lads have in store for them. However it's not just the fans that are getting hyped, the 5SOS lads are just as excited. Despite the busy schedule of their ongoing tour, lead singer Luke Hemmings and guitarist Michael Clifford opened up on how their sophomore album is more mature and personal based compared to their debut album.
According to Inquisitr, Luke Hemmings explained how hyped he and the boys are for the release of their second album, 'Sounds Good Feels Good.' The 5SOS boys have promised fans that their sophomore album will be much more mature and personal. After growing in the music industry over the last four and a half years the boys have also been able to grow with their music, and now focus on creating more mature music, based on their personal experiences.
In an interview lead singer Luke stated, "I think we try and write about our personal experiences. The only way to be original in your song writing is to write about your own experiences, and I think that's what we try to do as a band."
In another report from Movie News Guide, guitarist Michael Clifford also mentioned that he and the boys are planning something really big for their second album. Apparently the boys worked really hard on their second album after they spent months living together in Los Angeles to write and record their material.
Christian Post reported that 'Sounds Good Feels Good' is due to be released on October 23rd. The 5 Seconds of Summer boys are still currently on their 'Rock Out With Your Socks Out' tour that will come to an end on September 13 after nearly two months of touring.
With the end of their tour just round the corner, the 5 Seconds Of Summer lads will be taking a break after they wrap up their last concert in West Palm Beach. During their break the guys will be preparing for the release of their new album, and plan to compose more music for their much loved fans.
