"Teen Wolf" Season 6 update: Tyler Posey confirms his "leaving the show" rumors

Jeff Davis, writer and creator of 'Teen Wolf' reveals during an interview that he was surprised for the show's renewal of contract. He also discusses his plans of replacing the actor behind Scott's role. However Tyler Posey addresses the rumors on whether he is leaving the show or not.

As reported on Design & Trend, the MTV show 'Teen Wolf' wasn't expected to continue beyond its 5th season. The network has renewed the show for an additional set of 20-episode installment. Even Davis, the showrunner himself was surprised about the show's renewal of contract. He never thought that the show will go beyond Season 5. Meaning the fans will be watching the show for a couple more years.

On a recent podcast interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Davis shares what's more in store for Scott McCall (Tyler Posey). Plus the drama that the upcoming episodes and season will pack for the fans. About the possibility of continuing beyond Season 6, the creator tolds THR, "I have no idea. Who knows if it will be the last season or not."

In addtion to that, Davis also mentioned that he'd love to see someone else to take over the show beyond season 6.He sees Dylan Sprayberry taking over the role of Tyler Posey. Although Davis didn't mentioned that Scott (Posey's character) would have less participation in the future episodes, his comments sparked speculations to the actor's fans.

Moreover according to Seventeen, Posey breaks his silence via Twitter in Sept. 10, 2015 to address the fans questions and fears. He confirms the rumors by stating that he will never leave the show 'Teen Wolf'.

Tyler Posey confirms that he is never leaving the show. Fans on the other hand can stay tune for more explosive revelations from Jeff Davis. The American supernatural drama series 'Teen Wolf' Season 5B resumes to MTV at 10:00 p.m. in January 2016.
