As Destiny: The Taken King is already making its way to the mass shortly, Bungie adds more interesting feats to the table with the release of the soundtrack for the said game. Will the consistency of Bungie be enough to elevate them once more after the weak attempts of resuscitating their reputation?
According to IGN, Bungie is bound to release the official soundtrack for Destiny: The Taken King to the public in a few days' time. The developer confirmed that the soundtrack will contain the music from previous titles, The Dark Below and House of Wolves.
The soundtrack for Destiny: The Taken King, as reported by Game Spot, will be launched the same time as the expansion arrives-September 15, 2015. Giving their most respective talents to the franchise are C Paul Johnson, Skye Lewin and Michael Salvatori. However, a certain case in which classic Destiny composer Marty O' Donnell had to settle prohibited him from being listed in having any contributions to the Destiny: The Taken King soundtrack.
All the composers agreed that the soundtrack depicts a lot about the game's entirety, and were quoted, "As the World of Destiny continues to evolve, so must the music that brings it to life. The heroic moment when you first grabbed Crota's sword. The legendary fanfare that heralded the capture of Skolas for the Queen. The dark, regal overtones as Oryx enters our Solar System on a path to revenge. It has been our honor to score your new adventures. We hope you enjoy listening to the Taken King Soundtrack as much as we have enjoyed creating it. May it remind you of your bravest moments in a world imagined for heroes."
Though for the past months, the Destiny franchise has not gone down the road without a few speed bumps, they are certainly hoping and doing all that they can to make the Destiny games stronger than supposed to. As delivered by Forbes, Destiny: The Taken King is primarily putting their backs into the franchise, as to get another chance to correct the flaws that was caused-especially for the Xbox users that previously had a soaring issue with the game.
The official Destiny: The Taken King soundtrack has not been disclosed with a price yet as of the moment. It has been confirmed, however, that the game will be made available for both iTunes and Amazon. Bungie, as well, will be making the soundtrack purchasable on their own site, with bonus items to go with their "true audiophile" version.
