Destiny: The Taken King Dev Explains Purpose Behind Price; More In-Game Details Discussed by Bungie

Only with a little more than a month to go, Destiny: The Taken King is already within any gamer's grasp. As the game is approaching rapidly, the developers aim to distribute and clarify a few things, one of which being the astoundingly elevated game price which towers way over the previous titles.

An amazing price markup was explained by Bungie, as recently reported by Game Spot. The previous installments were rated at $20, whilst the upcoming Destiny: The Taken King is marked at twice the said price; a startling cost of $40. Community Manahger Eric "Urk Osborne deliberately explained as to why the price came to be.

Apart from the content packs of the past, there will be marvelous cinematics, all the characters, missions, as well as a full campaign, as stated by Mr. Osborne. Furthermore, the game will take the players to Dreadnaught, moving into Phobos and finally into colony ships. The game is considerably jam-packed from top to bottom.
