Even after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner confirmed their split last June, they were still spotted several times recently. Last week, they allegedly attended a two-hour therapy session but members of the family indicate that reconciliation is nowhere close to happening yet.
In Touch Weekly reports that the couple is working with a therapist simply because they want the transition of their split to be easy for their family, not necessarily to reconcile with each other. The two are now focusing on their kids and what is best for them. They want to make things as easy as possible for their children to accept what has happened to them.
The 43-year-old actor was allegedly having an affair with their nanny, thus causing the split. After they announced their separation, the actress no longer wants to be involved with Ben's personal life. She just wants the actor to still be committed to their kids.
When they were spotted together, there was no visible tension between the two. They were allegedly having a great time spending it with their children. According to Design Trend, the therapy session is not only for the kids. The couple still care about each other, even after ending their marriage already. However, the two have no intentions anymore of getting back together. The actress simply doesn't want their kids to question their father about the alleged affair, doing her best to keep it from them.
As reported by Latin Post, during their couple therapy session, the two addressed their final issues with each other. The two are aware of the problems they need to talk with their counselor. The actor had no problem going to a therapy, admitting their issues.
The couple is definitely doing what it takes to make their divorce easier for their family. There might be no reconciliation ahead of them, but at least they are working things out between them.
