‘Spider-Man' Reboot Update: Tony Stark Designs An Iron Spider Costume; A New Nemesis For Spider-Man?

By

The latest "Spider-Man" reboot update is that the movie is now scheduled to hit theaters on July 18, 2017. Tom Holland will star as Peter Parker. The movie, under the direction of John Watts, will show Tony Stark building an Iron Spider costume for Peter. There are speculations that Spidey will encounter a new nemesis in the form of Kraven the Hunger.

Digital Spy gives more details of the "Spider-Man" reboot's latest update. They say that Sony finally given in and gave the web crusader back to Marvel in the silver screen. Sony will also be co-producing with Marvel Cinematic Universe for the next film. Production is said to begin in June of 2016. In this movie, Peter Parker will have a new face in the form of Tom Holland. At 19 years of age, Holland will be the youngest actor to don the web costume. Kevin Feige says that he will be portraying Peter's age at 15 or 16 years. Meanwhile, Aunt May will be played by Marisa Tomei.

The Youth Health Mag wrote that Tony Stark will be directly involved in providing Spider-Man his controversial Iron Spider outfit. Most avid comic readers expect the movie to be the same as that of the comic version. Parker takes Tony's side in the conflict between Iron Man and Captain America on the Superhuman Registration Act declared by the government. Their time spent as allies gives Stark time to ponder on improving Peter's costume.

According to Master Herald, "Spider-Man" has been creating more hype than its predecessors. It's not a secret that Tony likes creating stuff not just for himself but also for his allies to make them more effective in combat. This was evident when Ultron was developed in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." The suit was named "Iron Spider" simply because Tony Stark designed it for Spider-Man. Additional reports suggest that Marvel will be introducing a new nemesis for the film and was confirmed by Kevin Feige himself; a "never been seen by fans" enemy, most probably in the form of Kraven the Hunger.

There are no other specific updates about the Iron Spider costume especially as to how it will look like or how it will help Peter further progress his web-slinging moves in his fight against crime. Fans will have to wait until July 18, 2017 to see how Tom Holland suits up. With a new costume designed by Tony Stark, moviegoers will have to see how it will be effective against his possible new adversary Kraven the Hunger.
