Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin's beef has escalated to something else during the "Real Housewives of New York City's" 100th episode special interview. They were former best friends that turned sour and for the very first time, Frankel revealed what's the root cause of their longtime feud.
Speaking with Andy Cohen for the "Watch What Happens Live," the "Skinny Girl" tycoon called out Zarin "cunning b****." She also revealed that Zarin created a drama during the RHONY 100th episode special to make the reality TV series' viewers hate her. Frankel confessed, Jill has been always jealous of her when she began getting more projects than her, Daily Mail reports.
There was an instance when Zarin couldn't accept why she landed on prime guest-hosting stint on the "The Today Show." "Jill called here, and she lost her mind," Bethany told Bravo host Cohen as she recalls what NBC producers told her. "Jill was asking 'why not me? I'd be better than her."The 44-year-old author and chef went to add that when she's been invited to do shows out in L.A., Zarin would question why they're inviting her instead because she's better than Frankel, E! News reports.
Things were still normal between the two of them until the season reunion. Frankel left the series after third season while Zarin left after season four. After some time, they met again in season three reunion, where the "we're done" phone call was filmed and the 44-year-old claimed that Zarin made America hate her. Zarin called out to her by not checking on her husband after a medical procedure.
"It was like, 'Whoa, this is one cunning b**ch. She's waiting to be on camera to come at me with things and make America hate me!' It was really clear that she wanted people to hate me."
Frankel made it clearer when she called her former BFF a hog, according to Radar Online."It must be very difficult for her that she can say she's responsible for putting me on the show and people say I'm the most successful Housewife in history and she would've been on the ride with me," Bethenny said. "You know, pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered and that's how it goes."
RHONY 100th special that features interview with past and present Housewives including Bethenny, Kelly Bensimon, Heather Thomson, Luann de Lesseps, Aviva Drescher,Dorinda Medley, Carole Radziwill, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and Kristen Taekman. It will air on September 17. Zarin hasn't commented yet on the said interview of Frankel with Andy Cohen.
