The latest trailer for "The Originals" season 3 has been released and it's showing more blood and betrayals as confirmed by actor Joseph Morgan. Showrunner Julie Plec also teased that there will be more Claire Holt in Season 3.
In a report by Franchise Herald, Joseph Morgan, who plays the role of Klaus Mikaelson, teased that his former friends will be seeking him for revenge and that he will be cutting ties with his family. The first vampires that the Mikaelsons have created will be coming back for revenge in time for Elijah and Rebecca to decide to cut their friendly ties with Klaus.
In the teaser trailer, Klaus was seen having an emotional breakdown while Elijah seemed scared upon the arrival of the sire line leaders. Hayley also has not forgiven Klaus yet after he has cursed her to turn only as a human during full moon. It was also seen that Freya Mikaelson made a chilling statement "You will all fall." Klaus will reportedly have a difficult time fighting the sire line leaders as they try to invade their home.
Morgan also took to Twitter to promote the trailer and the caption reads: "Season 3 #TheOriginals is without a shadow of a doubt the the most dynamic, gripping and intoxicating season yet. #BloodTearsAndBetrayal."
Speaking of Hayley, Realty Today wrote that Elijah will be helping Hayley. He is said to find a way to free Hayley from the Crescent Curse. However, it remains unknown how he will achieve this.
Meanwhile, showrunner Julie Plec promised that Claire Holt, the actress playing Rebecca, will be seen more in "The Originals" Season 3 as per report from Entertainment Weekly. "We'll actually be seeing quite a lot of Claire in the beginning of the season in flashbacks. We'll see which of the three she sired and how that all went down and then we will come find [Rebekah] in present day, where she realizes she's in as much danger from the other sire lines as her brothers are," Plec shared.
"The Originals" season 3 will see more of Claire Holt and the troubles that Klaus Mikaelson will be facing. It is promised to be bloodier than the previous two seasons. The show will be coming back on The CW this October 8.
