StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void officially launches on November 10 for PC and Mac, Blizzard announced Sunday during the finals of the StarCraft World Championship series. Also, three editions are now made available for pre-ordering the game which include must-have collectible items.
Blizzard Entertainment has released an opening trailer and probably one of the best, that comes from a company that produces the best cinematics in the business, Forbes reports. Also, the official release date for StarCraft 2 Legacy of the Void on PC and Mac has been finally confirmed after long months of waiting.
In this regard, pre-order for the StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void is now available on Battle.net. The game will come in Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and retail-exclusive Collector's Edition. Here are the complete details on the different editions available:
Standard Edition
- Available in physical and digital versions
- Digital version is now available for pre-purchase for $39.99.
Digital Deluxe Edition
- Players who have preorders have an option to upgrade to the Digital Deluxe Edition for $59.99
- Access to a variety of Blizzard in-game bonuses which are available upon Legacy of the Void's release. These include:
- Archon battle pet ready to join your side in World of Warcraft
- Void Seeker mount to charge through the Nexus in Heroes of the Storm
- Protoss card back to demonstrate your psionic potential in Hearthstone
- Protoss-themed portraits and unit skin for StarCraft 2
Retail-exclusive Collector's Edition
- Comes with the digital bonus items from the Digital Deluxe Edition,
- A special edition of the colorful hard cover StarCraft Field Manual, a DVD loaded with cinematics and special features, and a CD soundtrack
It is noted that any of these three editions will grant an access to a StarCraft Warrior Hero in Heroes of the Storm. IGN reported earlier that this StarCraft Warrior Hero is Artanis who was revealed alongside other two heroes at Gamescom 2015.
StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void will be the final expansion of the StarCraft 2 series that will focus on the Protoss race with Artanis as its main protagonist character. It is set to hit PC and Mac ths coming November 10.
