The upcoming Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 2 will contain four playable characters from a huge list of names including movie villains and heroes such as Sektor, Alien, The Joker, and more. The game's second expansion pack is seen to release in early 2016.
Mortal Kombat X co-creator Ed Boon has revealed that potential DLC characters will include The Joker, Sektor, Cyrax, Noob Saibot, Elvira, Indian Jones, and Neo, Yibada reported. Names like Rorschach, Marcus Fenix, Ash William, and Spawn are also considered as DLC fighters for the upcoming Kombat Pack 2.
However, it appears that two of these upcoming DLC characters have already been revealed, although, unofficially, when Boon recently teased the next possible kombatants on Twitter. Design and Trend noted that the Mortal Kombat X co-creator hinted Sektor and Alien to be featured in the forthcoming Kombat Pack 2. Boon had posted images giving hints on the possible inclusion of these two characters in the next DLC.
The images are parody of Universal Pictures movie Straight Outta Compton had shown Sektor and Alien with letters that read, "Straight Outta KP2." As reported, KP2 seems related to a second Kombat Pack of DLC characters and skins. An Alien picture is also teased from the original 1979 movie with an added caption that reads, "Straight Outta John Hurt," with Alien classically coming out from the actor's chest.
Moreover, the mock posters look interesting because it is one of the first posts from director Boon acknowledging the possibility of future DLC using an original tweet. Before, he just shared some videos showing speculations and articles on the topic to keep the interest of his fans.
