Jessica Biel launches sex education series online, says she wants women to be informed

Jessica Biel just recently revealed her plans to start her own sex education series online. The new online campaign reportedly wants to inform and teach women more about their bodies.

The mother of one told Glamour that when she and Timberlake talked about having a baby two years ago, she decided to instantly stopped taking birth control pills. The actress explained, "Now what happens? I've been on the Pill for so long; how hard will it be for me to get pregnant?"

Biel also added, "Suddenly I realized I really didn't know what's going on inside my own body...it was shocking." Because of that, the actress made a decision to launch an online movement to help other women get the information they needed. Joining her in informing the women online is activist Saundra Pelletier. Pelletier helped the actress understand more about contraception.

The two new partners are now staring a series of online videos that will be very informative about puberty and contraception at Woman Care Global. In fact, things like menstruation and the Pill are rarely tackled by celebrities. But Biel remembers how embarrassed she was when she got her period in fifth grade, as claimed by E! News. She recalled, "I was in a school play, wearing a gray beard and this pad the size of a skateboard and thinking, What is happening to me?"

She continued by stating, "We want girls to know what their [body is going through] so they don't feel scared or ashamed or gross." To get the message out, Biel explains, "we share girl stories, fears, and insecurities. The tone is informative but also goofy, smart, witty."

According to People, the campaign partners' videos are just their initial action. The founder of Womancare Global also plans to utilize numerous platforms to achieve their main goal to reduce unwanted pregnancies. "I'm thrilled," stated Ginny Ehrlich, CEO of the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy. "We need to get young adults this information in a variety of ways." Pelletier responded by saying, "There is power and dignity in understanding your body."

And now, many of the "Total Recall" actress' supporters shared their support to her online movement. They are seemingly delighted that the online videos are not just informative, they are also goofy and witty at the same time. As of now, Biel and Pelletier proudly revealed that the Web series will be released on September 28.
