America's well-liked beer has joined forces with America's famed heavy metal band Metallica to produce a special, limited-edition beer. On the other hand, Metallica's Kirk Hammett gave their fans details about their new album.

The union of Budweiser and Metallica will allegedly produce 91,000 cans of suds brewed by Labatt. But unfortunately, the band's world-wide fans can't have the beer cans since the limited edition drink will only be available in Quebec. The cans will be sported in black with Metallica's silver logo. It will also come with a lightning bolt design running down the side.

According to First We Feast, the brand and the band's collaboration will be matched with the closure of Quebec City's Colisee Pepsi and the opening of Centre Videotron. Metallica will kick off the venue change with the heavy metal band performing in the city.

Their first gig was on September 14, while the second one is expected tonight. A statement from the beer-maker claimed, "During the concert, the sonic vibrations from Metallica's music will be infused into the liquid, creating the rock and roll recipe." They also posted a photo of the concert venue, showing off the tanker truck preparing to get infused, as mentioned by NPR.

On the other hand, the band kept themselves busy performing in festivals in Rock in Rio USA and Lollapalooza, but guaranteed that they are still working on their next album. In an interview on The Loop with host Tim Virgin, band member Kirk Hammett admitted that the band has they enjoyed their continuous time in the studio. Moreover, it makes it easier for them to perform on different shows while still working on their new album.

In a report by Blabber Mouth, he revealed that they're on the studio recording their music while some days they're away to perform for cpncerts. He claimed, "Okay, the last [U.S.] show we played before this was in Las Vegas, in.... whenever it was ... April or June ... something like that. And it seems like we might not be doing anything in between that show and this show, but what we are doing is we are in the studio, we're recording, we're working on music."

He added that they are still in the process of making their new album. The lead guitarist also claimed that the only thing that they're doing is to shift the thinking from being in the studio and being creative when it comes to playing in a live performance. But the band is handling the situation very well.
