Miley Cyrus has taken another avenue for her song. The pop star's newest single, "Hands of Love" is featured in the movie "Freeheld." The said movie is one of the film entries in the Toronto International Film Festival.

Miley Cyrus and Linda Perry have worked on a collaboration in "Hands of Love." Linda Perry, the former 4 Non Blondes' singer and a great songwriter to Pink and Christina Aguilera, has created a beautiful song to be performed by Miley Cyrus, Time shared. According to the songwriter, the song just happened and she's happy that it will be included in the soundtrack of the movie "Freeheld", which she said had moved her.

Miley Cyrus is said to be perfect for the said song. Amidst of all the angst and other issues about the pop icon's change in personality and style, no doubt she is still a great singer. The song is said to be traditionally pop, thus justifies Miley Cyrus performing it, Cosmopolitan reported.

"Freeheld" was said to showcase a real-life lesbian couple that stars Ellen Page and Julianne Moore will bring into life. The said couple in the movie fought for their LGBTQ equal rights and benefits. ABC News said that Miley Cyrus seem perfect for the part - for she is a vocal supporter of LGBTQ equality.

Moreover, "Hands of Love" is on the lookout to be a nominee for Best Original Song. The movie "Freeheld" is also an Oscar contender because of its original and beautiful plot. The film's soundtrack could really play a big role to winning the Oscars.

Miley Cyrus seems to be unstoppable with all the amazing things she does for her art. In lieu of her being a perfect fit to sing in the film's soundtrack, she is also a viable person to put feelings in a song. "Freeheld" will be shown in theaters on October 2, 2015.
