Renowned game publisher Ubisoft has recently revealed Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege new gameplay details and its DLC plans following its reslated launch on December 1. Three editions for pre-order as well as the codes for the closed beta happening next week are also made available.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege will introduce ten maps when it launches in December but more will be added to the game via future DLCs, PC Gamer reports. Level designer Benoit Deschamps confirmed these new gameplay details and revealed that these number of maps featured in the game were picked out of more than fifty choices.
"As for now yes, there are ten maps," Deschamps confirmed. "But we have more planned because we're already working on more content for players after launch."
As reported earlier, the first-person shooter will be released in three editions, although, these are only for Europe, the Middle-East and Asia (EMEA) regions while American special editions are set to be confirmed at some future time.
The Art of Siege Edition contains the game, a collector's box, a Gold Skins Pack for all in-game weapons and a 120-page Tactical Guide detailing Counter Terrorist Units, Operators, weapons, and maps. The game's season Pass is excluded, however.
The Gold Edition, on the other hand, is the Standard Edition with a Season Pass and the Uplay Shop will be offering an exclusive Tactical Elite Edition which is the Art of Siege edition with a Season Pass.
As revealed on official website, players who want to join the Closed Beta for Rainbow Six Siege can redeem the codes by doing the following steps:
Once logged in, click REDEEM CODE and enter platform of choice such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC. Press NEXT and log in to Uplay account, or create a Uplay account for those who don't one just yet. Enter unique access code and after confirmation is received, Ubisoft team will respond with corresponding access instructions for respective platform of choice once the beta goes live.
The Closed Beta will feature the return of the Terrorist Hunt mode in addition to PvP unveiled at E3 2015 last June. In this particular mode, players will be seen amid global crisis perpetrated by the White Masks who are tagged as the world's dreadful terrorist group.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is set to arrive on Xbox One, PS4, and PC this coming December 1, 2015.
