It may be hard to believe, but crazy hot Matt Damon admitted he does not really like working out. However, the actor did not fail to show a totally ripped body as he come back to continue the Bourne franchise.
"It's a lot of work," Damon admitted during the Toronto International Film Festival as reported by E Online. While promoting the actor's latest movie "The Martian" on the said event, he talked about the sacrifice he needed to do achieve his current physique.
"You know what somebody said to me? They said, 'It's a lot of no's and not one yes.' "And that's what it is," he continued. "It's for work. It's the only time I would ever do it is for work. I like to say yes too much. I like burgers and beer. It's been no burgers and beer for a while."
The 44-year-old actor also admitted that his workout is painful and he feels it. Damon will turn 45 next month and when asked about his plans for his upcoming birhtday, he said that he just want "everyone to be happy."
The Bourne star is currently busy with shooting the fifth installment from the Bourne movies. After finishing the movie "The Bourne Ultimatum" in 2007, Jason Bourne is finally back. A picture of a shirtless Damon was tweeted by Producer Frank Marshall who is excited to shoot the film.
Aside from the Bourne movie, Matt Damon also prepared physically achieved an astronaut shape for his role in the upcoming space drama, "The Martian", by Ridley Scott. Damon also told Yahoo about his preparation. "I worked out a lot," he revealed in an interview at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) in Pasadena, California. "They had to put this giant fake stomach on me," he said with a smile. "So I did all this work to get in shape and they put a prosthetic stomach over my stomach."
The Bourne fanatics are happy to know that Matt Damon is back. With the actor's dedication and commitment to portray his role, the upcoming installment of the Bourne franchise could be another hit. Meanwhile, Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels, Donald Glover, and Chiwetel Ejiofor are with Damon on the movie "The Martian" which opens nationwide on October 2.
