Game developer Supercell has been teasing that Clash of Clans, the top grossing mobile game of all time, is getting a major new update at ClashCon next month and what fans can expect from it over the last few days.Also, players can now upgrade Lightning Spell to Level 7 with Town Hall at Level 10.
The new update for Clash of Clans will be out at the ClashCon event on October 24 next month and is said to be a big update that might bring significant strategic changes in the game. According to IBTimes, this information comes from a YouTuber named Clash of Clans Attacks.
In addition, on Clash of Clans' official Facebook page, the developer posted, "We love Sneak Peeks" on September 13 which flooded with over 2000 replies and over 42,000 Likes.
The following day, Supercell revealed on its official Twitter account that players will now be able to upgrade their Lightning Spell to Level 7 with a Town Hall at Level 10. This, it said, will "ravage buildings and troops alike."

The Lightning Spell at Level 5 will now have increased damage and players will now get a Level 6 Lightning Spell at Town Hall Level 9. Clash of Clans Attacks detailed that the new features in this month's update include the following:
- The lightning bolts will now strike closer together, but players will have to make sure that they have aimed it right.
- Five of the six bolts will be tightly grouped, and anything below it will be damaged
- Players might need a combination of two different spells to take down air defence units
From the same report, a YouTuber who is known as PlayClashOfClans has also assured that the September update will have spells reworked and improved. The new Poison Spell will now have a faster rate of damage and scale up the damage within its radius. The new Poison Spell will slow the attack of the defending enemy troops.
The new Earthquake Spell comes also with new features which will be based on the number of Earthquake Spells used, with the first Spell to inflict 25% damage. Also, the Lightening Spell is to inflict 25% of damage.
Clash of Clans has been the top-grossing game since its release three years ago with estimated earnings of about $1.56 million per day beating the daily earnings of tough competitors like Candy Crush Saga and Game of War .
