Street Fighter 5 News: Yoshinori Ono teases Ryu for Tokyo Game Show 2015; Arabian fighter Rashid confirmed to join roster

A new fighter will debut on Street Fighter 5 and another one will be potentially revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2015 on Thursday.

Capcom has introduced an all-new fighter, Rashid, that was revealed by producer Yoshinori Ono at the Games 15 Event on Friday in Dubai, Polygon reported. Quoting from Capcom's press release, the site noted that Rashid's "fighting style takes cues for parkour, and he mixes it up with his unique ability to harness the power of wind."

Rashid, pronounced as ra-SHEED, will be the second Arabian fighter following Pullum Purna of Street Fighter EX in 1996. The friendly Arabian fighter is also a junkie for any kind of the latest technology.

Another potential character coming for Street Fighter 5 is Ryu. Event Hub noted that the character is teased by Ono, noting Ono's Twitter as the source but will be officially revealed on Thursday at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2015.

The event is happening at Makuhari Messe Mihama-ku, Chiba City in Japan from September 17 to 20. One of the images posted appears that Ryu is hit by some kind of an air spiral attack. Capcom's stage event at TGS 2015 will be on the 17th, Thursday, at 2:30 p.m. Japan time.

Among the dozen playable titles from Bandai Namco is the most awaited Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 which will be playable for the PS4 and Disney Infinity 3.0 which is also playable.

Street Fighter 5 is expected to be a next-gen fighting game that is developed using Unreal Engine 4, a new technology set of game development tools with several dozens of game created including Tekken 7.

Street Fighter 5 is due to launch in Spring 2016 on PS4, PC platforms and will have simultaneous worldwide release by then. It is promised that no region will be late and everyone will be able to play the game at the same time.
