Michelle Rodriguez is ready to get going on the upcoming "Fast & Furious 8". The actress recently revealed that the upcoming installment will be in accordance to the late Paul Walker's wishes. She also suggested that Angelina Jolie will be a great addition in the cast of the car racing franchise.

In a report by ET Online, Rodriguez claimed that the production team should step it up a lot more than the last movie installment, especially that the "Furious 7" earned a remarkable success. The actress, who portrayed the character of Letty Ortiz in the franchise, says the film made an enormous impact because movie fans wanted to pay tribute to the late Paul Walker.

Rodriguez also suggested for a few changes for the upcoming sequel to make it more interesting for viewers. As reported by Christian Today, the actress added the idea of putting Angelina Jolie in the cast of "Fast and Furious 8". "That would be sexy," Rodriguez stated on Wednesday. "We've definitely got to bring up the ante, man. Whoever it is -- it has to be a powerful presence that hasn't been seen before."

However, claimed that she doesn't want a well-known actress to be one of the villains in the movie. The 37-year-old actress stated, "I feel like it's time to evolve girls. Let's stop hitting each other and let's stop fighting each other, and let's start getting together and ganging up on people."

Walker's co-star also told People at the UNITAS Gala Against Sex Trafficking in New York City that the film's next installment will have very touching story line as it will reminisce Walker's character. "[Paul] wanted to bring it back down to the core, which is the racing," Rodriguez said. "He was always complaining about the special effects and the blue screens." She stated that the late actor wanted to put an end to the overstated explosions and over the top plot lines, so the next film will attempt to keep it "true to Paul's wishes."

At the 2015 Teen Choice Awards, Vin Diesel expressed that he wanted the main focus on the next movie will be trying to keep it true to the viewers. And he allegedly claimed that everything's going big now for the sequel and staying true would be a challenge for the production team.

While not a lot of details about the cast have been revealed yet by the movie production, Rodriguez still hopes for a badass female character in the sequel. Speculations also suggested big names other than Angelina Jolie, including Ruby Rose and Justin Bieber.
